Superbowl Capable Teams
There are only five teams I can see so far making it to the superbowl this year. First of all, of course, the Steelers, im not going to talk about them though because i have in my previous posts. The next team on this list is the Patriots, back from a knee injury early in the 2008 season, Tom Brady is healthy and ready to lead the Patriots (who have proven they can do well even without Brady) to another Superbowl. They might not get another 16-0 season but you can sure bet that theyre ready to redeem their humiliating loss in the 2007 season. Another team from the AFC that has a superbowl chance, is the Baltimore Ravens. After being down in the slumps in the past few seasons the ravens finally hired a new head coach and picked up a star quarterback in last years draft who have both proven they can work in the NFL. With an improved offence and a dominating Defense, you can be sure that the Ravens are going to bring some competition to the NFL. The next team, this time from the NFC is the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings, like the Ravens have a spectacular defense that shuts down any offensive game against them. On the other side of the balll the Vikings have Adrian Peterson, currently the best Runningback in the league and a talented O-line to block for him. The Vikings also have a Wr core that is growing in talent, the only thing that they're missing is a good Quarterback to lead the whole squad. Without a good Qb the Vikings have a chance at the Superbowl, however, if they get a good Qb, like Brett Favre, or anyone who can lead the team, then they are going to the superbowl. The last team I am looking at right now at going to the superbowl is the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons started fresh last year with a new coach, a new runningback, and a new Quarterback who all did excellent in their positions. Michael Turner, their Rb crushed the defense with his back-breaking trucks and sped past others with his incredible speed while Matt Ryan, their Qb threw all over the Dbs findng his recievers and becoming rookie of the year. These five teams are the teams I can see, right now, going to the Superbowl.
